Although Google did not stay away from this wearable device market by developing the Wear OS operating system for other smartwatch manufacturers, it had not developed a smartwatch under its own brand until today. Now, this is changing. The technology giant announced the Pixel Watch, the first smartwatch model. Introduced at the Google I/O event, the smartwatch will have a round dome face made of stainless steel and a tactile crown, and interchangeable watch straps. It will run with an updated Wear OS 3 that offers users improved navigation and smart notifications, along with the built-in Fitbit to track health and fitness goals. The Google Pixel Watch is scheduled to launch this fall. Click here if you want more information.
