2022 Porsche Taycan GTS Sedan & Sport Turismo

In late 2019, Porsche unveiled its first EV model, the Taycan, which combines the brand’s signature blend of luxury and performance in an all-battery-powered package. Now let’s quickly come to the present. The Stuttgart firm has unveiled an even higher-performance, track-ready variant of the electric Porsche, now called the Taycan GTS.

The Taycan GTS, which left its mark on the first electric Porsche exclusive to the GTS, is produced in sedan and Sport Turismo models. It combines front and rear permanent magnet motors, both powered by a 93.4 kWh battery, producing 440 kW (or 590 hp) and 848Nm of torque. The 800-volt architecture of the battery pack ensures that the cell receives an 80% charge in less than 23 minutes. Equipped with launch control, both versions of the Taycan GTS offer 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds, while a maximum speed of 155mph (250km/h) is yours. High-performance and track-oriented Taycan GTSs also; Porsche’s Adaptive Air Suspension system brings with it cutting-edge capabilities such as the GT Multifunction Steering Wheel, 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels, Porsche Active Suspension Management, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, and the Sport Chrono Package.

Porsche has yet to reveal range-related specs, but the information is expected to emerge in the next few weeks. The 2022 Porsche Taycan GTS, currently available for pre-order, starts at $131,400, while the Taycan GTS Sport Turismo is available for $133,300. Click here for detailed information.
