Canoo, an electric vehicle start-up company, has launched a new EV pickup truck, which is scheduled to begin pre-orders in the second quarter of this year, and the truck will be released in early 2023. The Canoo pickup will be equipped with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Wheel drive, and has single-engine or dual-engine versions. The most powerful version is developed through a new dual-motor powertrain with a maximum output of 600 horsepower, a maximum torque of 550 lb-ft, and a load capacity of 1800 lbs. The truck will also have a cruising range of 230 miles (depending on configuration), a stretchable bed extension frame for carrying longer cargo, chunky off-road tires, and a front cargo area that can be doubled as a folding workbench, Omnidirectional lighting, and power outlets, and modular beds with space dividers.
