Automobili Lamborghini celebrates its 60th anniversary with a unique collaboration with Japanese artist IKEUCHI. The project, called “Chasing the Future,” involves the incorporation of original parts from iconic Lamborghini anniversary models into two artworks created by IKEUCHI. The resulting artworks, Time Gazer and Lamborghini Huracán STO Time Chaser_111100 showcase the brand’s heritage and innovative spirit while exploring the concepts of time and timelessness.
The Huracan STO, the base for IKEUCHI‘s one-off concept, features the artist’s signature future-industrial design elements. The sculpture entitled “Time Chaser” incorporates parts from iconic Lamborghini models such as the Countach 25th Anniversary, Diablo SE30, Murcielago 40th Anniversary, and Aventador LP-720-4 50th Anniversary. The unique collaboration showcases the bond between the automotive giant and the art world.
Stephan Winkelmann, Automobili Lamborghini Chairman, and CEO expressed pride in presenting this unique piece of art in the brand’s 60th-anniversary year. He said the collaboration embodies Lamborghini’s values of tradition and innovation, past and future, promising to continue as a bold and unconventional brand.
The official unveiling of “Chasing the Future” takes place in Tokyo.
