The Polaris Slingshot has not only grown in popularity since its debut in 2014, but it has also become arguably one of the most iconic three-wheelers in the world. For this reason, although Minnesota-based Polaris is known for its legendary off-road vehicles, it had to develop four new equipment levels special for 2022 for the Slingshots, which have become a symbol of daily use and fun travel and whose popularity is increasing day by day.
Four new Slingshots
The 2022 Slingshot lineup offers four models and four trim levels, in keeping with the popular adage that “variety is the spice of life”. Launching the new Slingshot lineup is the Model S, which Polaris markets as a “blank canvas for customization.” Buyers can choose to upgrade the Model S with Technology Package 1, which includes a 100-watt Rockford Fosgate sound system with a 2.7-inch screen, speaker baffles, and Rockford Fosgate tweeters on the front panel.
The next Slingshot model, the SL, offers advanced features such as added styling components, premium finishes, a 100-watt Rockford Fosgate sound system, and a seven-inch touchscreen powered by RIDE COMMAND. After the SL comes the popular SLR, which features a 203 hp ProStar four-cylinder engine and a sporty two-tone exterior paint scheme. The SLR also features multi-tone paint with glossy and matte finishes, premium sports seats, and full-body graphics.
Complementing the four new models, the top-of-the-line Slingshot is the R model with its 203 hp ProStar engine, Brembo Brakes, ventilated fenders, hood aerodynamics, and a new Vented Sport Hood that improves cockpit airflow.
And four new trim levels
If all that wasn’t enough to choose from among the four new Slingshots, Polaris also offers four new trim levels with additional accessories for you. Among them are; Drive Series that improves handling and performance, the Escape Series that increases driver comfort, Show Series that equips your Slingshot with LED lights and 3 Roll Hoop Audio Kits, and the Design Line that allows for additional customization.
