The 2021 Formula One season will mark Aston Martin’s return to the World Championship series for the first time in more than 60 years. In addition to launching its AMR21 Cognizant F1 car, the famous British brand has now revealed that it will provide two cars the auxiliary car is coming for the 23rd season.
Aston Martin will make its debut in the first round of competitions in Bahrain in 2021 and will provide the official safety car and the league’s official medical car for the series. The safety car will be equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, which will be Aston Martin‘s new Vantage, and the alliance’s official medical vehicle will be the new 542hp DBX luxury SUV. In addition to wearing Aston Martin’s iconic green and yellow uniforms, both the DBX Medical and Vantage Safety cars will be equipped with a large number of FIA-approved equipment, including racing seats and seat belts, and a display mounted on the dashboard.
