Volvo‘s electric product lineup has expanded with the new C40 Recharge. The C40 is the second electric car from the Swedish car manufacturer. Compared with the pure SUV XC40, the C40 has a more cross-border roof profile and a lower ride height. Two electric motors (one each on the front and rear axles) are connected to a 78 kWh battery, allowing the C40 to have a range of 260 miles. Volvo said this number may increase with the update of the software in the air. The C40 has the typical low-key elegance of Volvo. It is an infotainment system jointly developed with Google and running on Android OS. Interestingly, the C40 Recharge is only available for purchase through Volvo’s website.
