The Godzilla vs Kong trailer released. Legendary monsters will face off in cinemas on March 26, 2021, and on HBO Max for a while, on the same day. Legendary Entertainment, the production company of “Godzilla vs Kong”, recently had an argument with Warner Bros. and threatened to take legal action over the studio’s decision to release the movie on HBO Max. It looks like Warner Bros. doesn’t think to back down.
The iconic monster movies began with the 2014 film Godzilla, the first of its modern versions, which grossed $ 514 million worldwide. Later, the 2017 drama Kong: Skull Island reintroduced audiences to King Kong. The last movie to be released was the 2019 production of Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Godzilla vs Kong is directed by Adam Wingard, who has made a name for himself with his low-budget thrillers and horror films and starring Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, and Kyle Chandler.
Warner Bros. first tried and tested its decision to release the movies on the same day as their release date with “Wonder Woman 1984”. The film has grossed over $ 140 million worldwide to date. Although it seems like a successful result under pandemic conditions, it is a very low figure for a movie shot with a budget of 200 million dollars. On March 26, hope the pandemic conditions will get a better point and we can get a chance to watch Godzilla vs Kong in the theaters. Click here for more details.
