Shoei spent more than sixty years slowly perfecting and improving its covers, and undoubtedly produced some of the best and highest quality motorcycle helmets on the planet. After launching its flagship RF-1200 model at the end of 2013, the Tokyo-based company once again increased its stake in the field of full-face brains through the debut of the new Shoei RF-1400 helmet.
The latest product of RF-1400 can be traced back to 1984. RF-1400 is Shoei‘s lightest and most compact SNELL (and DOT) approved full-face helmet, although it can still provide excellent performance through the use of Multi-Ply Matrix AIM+ It is supported by a double-layer multi-density EPS foam device. Spending a lot of time developing the shape and contour of the helmet in the wind tunnel resulted in a 4% reduction in drag and 6% in lift. Thanks to the three airflow channels, the wind flows into the wind through six intake ports and four exhaust ports, so the ventilation is also improved. RF-1400 is also equipped with a UV-resistant 3D injection-molded CWR-F2 sun visor with a pin lock. This sun visor benefits from the new wind-proof window trim system, which has better wind and water resistance. The Shoei RF-1400 helmet comes with a five-year warranty.
