FELO, a Shanghai-based startup, has recently debuted its all-new M-One folding e-scooter at the 2023 Tokyo Motorcycle Show. The M-One takes inspiration from the Honda Motocompo, a popular 49cc folding scooter that was designed to fit in the trunk of a compact car. The FELO M-One is equipped with modern features such as a 400-watt 1.34-hp hub motor that draws from a 48V, 20-Ah Lithium-ion battery pack that allows for a range of just over 60 miles on a single charge.
One of the most notable features of the M-One is its lightweight design, weighing only 80 lbs in full running order. The scooter is also incredibly compact, measuring 45.6” x 22” x 33.8”, and is designed to easily stow in the trunk of a modern car or SUV. Additionally, the FELO M-One offers decent hauling capabilities thanks to the addition of integrated aluminum and magnesium luggage racks.
The M-One also features folding footpads, handlebars, and a pivoting and folding seat, making it incredibly easy to store and transport. The scooter’s battery pack also allows it to act as a mobile power bank, making it perfect for outdoor adventures and long trips.
The M-One boasts an aviation-inspired livery complete with swaths of yellow safety stripes and various Kanji elements, giving it a modern feel. It also features cast wheels fitted with disc brakes and wheel disc inserts, a single-sided swing arm, protruding LED indicators, and an asymmetrical LED headlight arrangement.
The FELO M-One Folding e-scooter is expected to begin deliveries in Q4 of this year, priced at ¥380,000 (~ $2,900). With its modern features, lightweight design, and compact size, the M-One is quickly becoming a popular choice among commuters and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Click here for more details.
