There have been many requests for a station wagon M3 for decades and several generations, but BMW has dared to launch a newer M3 Touring version. When we saw him, we said to ourselves, “Son, it was worth the wait!”. The magnificent 2023 BMW M3 Touring was created with the aim of being the station wagon family car we have always wanted, but also has the distinction of being a sports car worthy of the letter M. It has a full 510 horsepower. The M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine produces 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. The current transmission is an eight-speed automatic that distributes engine power to two axles and four wheels.
The BMW Curved Display combines intuitive touch-able operation with a screen grouping comprising a 12.3” instrument cluster and 14.9” Control Display. The M Carbon steering wheel provides a racing feel.
The optional carbon-fiber trim strips in the spokes surround the operating elements and complement the high-quality feel of the steering wheel. The racing-tested material fits the dynamically designed interior visually, too.
The exterior design of the BMW M3 Touring reflects the motorsport-inspired character of the M3/M4 line-up in its own individual style.
Whatever exterior color is specified for the BMW M3 Touring, its roof will be finished as standard in Black high-gloss. The standard roof rails and the model-specific Gurney air-directing flap on the roof spoiler are painted in the same shade.
To increase the fun, you can burn a lot of tires by switching it to rear-wheel drive mode. Unless your family is in the car, of course.
