The latest version of DJI, which is offered in 2 different options, M30 and M30T, has an IP55 degree of protection. It can be used comfortably in harsh conditions such as heavy precipitation, strong winds, and even in snowy scenarios or at temperatures ranging from -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C). While its weatherproof construction is impressive and useful enough, the drone’s real talents lie in its incredible image-capturing prowess. The Matrice M30, which is surprisingly light and offers 41 minutes of flight time, is equipped with a 48-megapixel, half-inch CMOS sensor zoom camera with 8K photo resolution, while the M30T raises the bar a little more with the added 640×512 pixel radiometric thermal camera.
In addition to this powerful and professionally equipped drone, DJI has other innovations to offer. One is FlightHub2 management software, which can capture 360-degree images and upload them directly to the cloud, enabling incredible new mapping features like One-Tap Panorama Sync. Alongside this new technology, the DJI RC Plus, which offers an IP54-rated 7-inch screen and 6-hour runtime, will serve as the new remote control.
