Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe

Introduced in 1997, the fifth-generation Porsche 911 (also known as the Type 996) is perhaps the least popular 911, known for its water-cooled engines and extraordinary headlights. The main reason why Porsche Club of America decided to show its potential by taking this vehicle was its distance from this popularity. The result is the 911 Classic Club Coupe, which was completed with great support from Porsche Classic and has undergone a full restoration. Based on the 1998 911 Carrera, the Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe has the chassis, brakes, and engine of the 911 GT3. During the restoration, the body was strengthened and modified to fit the 1972 911 Carrera RS-inspired ducktail spoiler and 18-inch forged Fuchs wheels. The Sport Gray Metallic paintwork is accentuated by the blue light Sport Gray Metallic stripes, the outlines from the hood to the spoiler, the “Classic Club Coupe” lettering on the sides, and the “Classic Club Coupe” badging.

In the interior of the vehicle, a predominantly black interior welcomes us. Slate gray accents, a perforated Alcantara headliner, Pepita-patterned leather, blue stitching on the door panels, and seat center sections stand out.

It took two and a half years to reveal this Porsche, which takes a few lines to describe. So did it happen? Yes, it is.
