Mercedez Benz 190 EVO III Concept By Khyzyl Saleem

World-renowned concept artist Khyzyl Saleem was commissioned by Hagerty about a month ago to produce a ten-episode video series called Rendered, in which she offers an inside look at the digital design and creation process. In the latest installment of this series, we see how Kyza puts its signature on the totally iconic 1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5 16 Evolution II.

Inspired by other high-performance modernized classics from Automobili Amos such as the Lancia Delta Integrale Futurista, the aim of this project was to present a restored version of the AMG car. Created using Autodesk 3ds Max, the design has been overhauled based on Kyza‘s aero kit for its typically distorted stance and wide body style. Now it really stands out with massively widened fenders, a widened rear wing, a completely overhauled front, an exposed radiator, carbon exterior trim and aero kit elements. One of the most remarkable aspects of the building is the redesign of the Mercedes-Benz donor given to Kyza as a two-door model.

Design also; It is equipped with a modernized LED-equipped square headlight set, a center-exit dual exhaust flanked by rear diffusers on both sides, and a bespoke wheel set based on the stock wheels used on the original 190 EVO II. A full roll cage is also included in the interior, where a pair of racing seats are also used. The final step in the design of the EVO III was a digital paint job with the colors of the Petronas-AMG Formula 1 team, offering an ultra-clean racing look.

While Kyza‘s latest work has transformed a lot, it leaves no doubt as to what the original model the design was based on.
