RaceBird is a one-of-a-kind, high-performance electric watercraft that promises speeds of up to 58 mph (93 kph) with its cooling and hydrofoil technology. This electric racing boat weighs 880 lb (400 kg), has a maximum power output of 150 kW, and is powered by a 35 kWh Kreisel battery. A single-seat cockpit was chosen which is inspired by open-wheel race cars.
While RaceBird is powered by a 200-horsepower electric powertrain, it takes off for about 1.6 ft (approximately 0.5 m) thanks to a hydrophilic hull design inspired by gliding seabirds on the surface of the water.
