Porsche is officially returning to endurance racing in 2023. Penske, a longtime Porsche partner, will coach two teams, one in North Carolina for the IMSA WeatherTech series and the other in Mannheim, Germany for the FIA World Endurance Championship. The latest in a series of legendary endurance racers, the Porsche 963 will replace the Le Mans-winning 919 that last raced in 2017. The new Porsche Race Car 963 is powered by a combination of a V8 engine and a hybrid system and has covered around 5,000 test miles in the first half of 2022. The first race of the Porsche 963 is scheduled for the 2023 24 Hours of Daytona. Click here for more information.
