Ford introduced the 400-horsepower Bronco Raptor, the most powerful Bronco to date. Longer, wider, and more powerful than the regular Bronco, the powerful Raptor combines race-ready performance and off-road capability. Powered by a twin-turbo 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine, this monster SUV boasts 13.1 inches of ground clearance, Fox HOSS suspension, heavy-duty crash, and skid plates, 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission, durable LED fog lights, rugged road lights, modular steel front bumper with tow hooks and 37 inch KO2 off-road tires. Inside, there are magnesium pedals, high-support front seats, and a Raptor-specific steering wheel.
Ford is also offering a wide range of add-ons for the newest member of the Raptor family, including a host of off-road and road-focused items, as well as luxury amenities such as the optional Bang & Olufsen audio system. While this may change over time, the Raptor will currently only be available in a four-door body style.
Pricing information has yet to be announced, though Ford announced in March that it would begin accepting orders for the 2022 Bronco Raptor. Due to the global chip shortage delaying production of the Bronco, the Michigan brand will make initial allocations to existing reservation holders. First deliveries of the Bronco Raptor are scheduled to begin this summer. Click here if you want more information.
