Mazda CX-50 Crossover SUV

Although Mazda was founded a century ago, it never entered the off-road model production market, where brands and models such as Ford Bronco and Subaru Wilderness have become increasingly popular in recent years. But it seems that they can’t stay on the lookout for any longer, and they want to take action with the launch of the all-new CX-50 crossover for 2023.

Developed specifically for the North American market, the CX-50 boasts a host of impressive cutting-edge features, such as i-Activ AWD technology powered by Mazda‘s Intelligent Drive Select system. In addition to the Sport and Normal driving modes, there is now a special Off-Road mode. As one would expect from an off-road-focused model, the CX-50 features a slightly raised suspension package and plastic inserts adorning the underbody and wide wheel arches of the car. Roof rails also come as standard, and Mazda looks set to offer an optional roof rack. Among the power options of the CX-50, there is 187 hp natural emission 2.5L inline-four or turbocharged 2.5L four-engine alternatives for customers to decide. Authorized names of Japanese automaker Mazda state that they will soon add a hybrid engine option among these options.

It has been announced that the 2023 Mazda CX-50 is scheduled to launch in the spring of 2022. Pricing has yet to be announced, but the CX-50 is expected to be slightly more expensive than Mazda‘s current CX-5. Click here for detailed information.
