CyberDog is Xiaomi‘s new home robot, which can follow you anytime, anywhere. Compared to Boston Dynamics’ Spot, which went public last year, this is a small robot with multiple uses, from helping dangerous mines to enabling doctors to remotely contact patients. The open-source robot companion is supported by the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX platform AI supercomputer, which has 84 CUDA cores, 48 Tensor cores, 6 Carmel ARM CPUs, and 2 deep learning acceleration engines. Touch and ultrasonic sensors, cameras, and GPS help it interact with the environment, follow the owner, and bypass obstacles. Built using an open-source platform, users are encouraged to personalize their new friends according to their own preferences. Click here for more details about Xiaomi‘s CyberDog
