2022 Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4

The Lamborghini Countach debuted in 1971 and is one of the most legendary super sports cars ever. It went into production in 1974 and nearly 2,000 were produced before it was discontinued in 1990. 2021 is the first appearance of the 50th anniversary supercar designed by Gandini. Lamborghini chose to commemorate this moment with the new V12 engine Countach LPI 800-4, which is limited to 112 units.

Countach LPI 800-4 combines the visual themes of the wedge-shaped supercars of the 1970s with the contemporary aesthetic DNA of exotic brands. It is built around a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, with front and rear aluminum subframes, electrochromic glass roof and a full carbon-fiber body with 3D printed air intakes and electronically driven active aerodynamics. Mounted at the rear is a hybrid 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 770 horsepower and 531 foot-pounds of torque, aided by a 25 kilowatt (or 33.5 horsepower) electric motor. The powertrain is delivered to the ground through an electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system with a total power of 807 horsepower, enabling the 3,516-pound Countach to achieve a top speed of just over 220 mph and 0-60 mph in just under 2.8 seconds. Hours of time. So far, Lamborghini has not disclosed the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of the 2022 Countach LPI 800-4, although it will definitely be priced high and sold out.
