Since the Ram 1500 TRX debuted at the end of the summer last year, aftermarket tuners have been enthusiastically entering the platform. This is not without good reason. As the fastest and most powerful pickup in production history, TRX provides the perfect canvas for some real off-wall constructions.
Take the 6×6 expert Apocalypse Manufacturing company in Fort Lauderdale as an example. It is called the “Warlord” and, just like its namesake, it is designated as the wazoo of complete off-road authority. Under the hood, the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 remains unchanged, still delivering 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. However, looking around the rest of the vehicle, you will find that Apocalypse has lengthened the bed, equipped it with an additional proprietary power axle, and wrapped 18-inch wheels in 37-inch mud tires.
