When planning projects for Qatar, ordinary people do not do this. This is why Hayri Atak Architectural Design Studio went all out when envisioning an Eco-Floating Hotel. This ambitious project stretches from the coast of Arab countries on the surface of the Persian Gulf. Its circular volume rotates slowly through dynamic positioning, one rotation every 24 hours. The glass spiral roof covers the internal area and doubles as a rainwater collection system for the hotel’s greenery. Solar panels and wind turbines will provide electricity, thereby increasing the sustainability of the property. The hotel offers 152 rooms, each with its own balcony, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, spa, and gym. It is expected to be completed in 2025.
