Braun‘s DN 40 was designed by Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs in 1976 and was one of the company’s first digital clocks. BC21 is a modern interpretation. Its LCD display maintains the DN 40 tilt design, while the area behind it has been reused as a Qi-compatible 10W silicone charging pad that can provide juice to the device while making them invisible. The clock has 12-hour and 24-hour modes, a striking green alarm on/off button, brightness control, and a 5-minute snooze function for crescendo buzzer alarm.
