Today, Aston Martin has launched their first F1 car in more than 60 years. The vibration you feel is the collective vibration of the Formula One team on their boots. The iconic British brand has kicked off on AMR21, and it seems to be a worthy successor to the legendary DBR4.
The Aston Martin AMR21 is powered by a turbocharged Mercedes-AMG F1 M12 E Performance V6 engine with a hybrid energy recovery function. The driver weighs only 752 kg. Speaking of drivers, F1 legend Sebastian Vettel has been designated as one of Aston’s pilots, while 22-year-old Lance Stroll will drive the second AMR21. Both will display attractive Aston Martin racing green uniforms to pay tribute to the brand’s past. According to Aston Martin, their F1 team will help showcase the brand’s capabilities to a global audience, while also promoting technological innovation, which will shape Aston’s future road cars. The Aston Martin AMR21 will make its debut on the F1 stage of the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 28. Click here for more details.
