1987 BMW K100 Mutant By Ironwood Customs

Ironwood Customs is headquartered in Amsterdam and was founded in 2012 by Arjan van den Boom and Nick de Ruijter. Ironwood Customs is an outstanding manufacturer of disposable bikes, thanks in large part to the introduction of the brat-fighter type called BMW. For the latest one-off work, IWC adopted the highly acclaimed signature recipe and adjusted it to provide a more aggressive Bavarian style and a café-style tail.

Beginning with the BMW K100 in 1987, IWC dismantled the bike and used a fixed hexagonal stitched leather seat to put the supported subframe back in place. The fuel storage tank now uses a black and gold paint scheme to match the gold decoration on the engine box, and the extension can be fed into the DNA pod filter. The factory’s exhaust system has also been replaced by a fully customized one, the end result of which is an Akrapovič muffler with the seat removed from a sports motorcycle during a stroke. Other notable elements include the front end of the Ducati Panigale superbike, which is installed in a custom triad, Koso Thunderbolt LED headlights, Rizoma-style carbon canisters, Wilbers single shocks, and aftermarket competition-grade radiators. A new retaining clip and Motogadget’s Motoscope Pro display and bar end LED indicator. For more information, you can check the IWC website.
