Tiger is the abbreviation of Hyundai Ground Intelligent Robot and is Hyundai‘s first driverless extreme mobility car. The concept is similar to the Elevate UMV with four wheels and four legs. This versatility allows Tiger Mobility Vehicle to adapt to extreme terrain and transport cargo to the most remote places. If the wheel is stuck, it will enter the walking mode to browse the scenery while maintaining its load balance, and then retract the legs to level ground. The main difference is that the tiger is unmanned. This allows the machine to perform a variety of tasks, including delivering supplies to disaster areas, acting as a mobile science laboratory, and exploring the lunar surface in the future.
