As early as 2010, Can-Am launched Commander to expand its ATV products to include a solid SBS main horse. Although this may be the brand’s first real UTV at the time, this is not to say that it is not a complete product. On the contrary, just a year after its launch, it has already won Best Of The Best and Good Design awards.
With the announcement of the Can-Am Commander lineup in 2021, Can-Am is adopting the platform and growing it to 11. That’s because it is now equipped with a Rotax 1000R engine, which can be fine-tuned through its SPORT and ECO driving modes. The former can open the taps of all 100 horses, while the latter can achieve quieter and more fuel-efficient driving. Coupled with some improved ground clearance and increased suspension travel (XT can reach 15 inches), it is the most capable commander to date. But the best part is that, in addition to the already impressive 600-pound unloading box, Can-Am Commander also provides 2,000 pounds of towing capacity. In other words, whether you use it for work or entertainment, the commander can free you from any paper jams you encounter. It starts at $16,399. Click here for more details.
