Tesla‘s new grid pattern option for Model S is named Spaceballs Reference, and it will push four doors into the supercar field. The new flagship will be equipped with three electric motors with a total power of 1,020 horsepower, capable of driving 0 to 60 mph in 2 seconds, and a top speed of 200 mph, which is less than a quarter-mile in 9 seconds. This will make it the fastest 0-60 time and quarter-mile acceleration of any production car ever. What is impressive is that all of these performances will not come at the expense of mileage, as 520 miles can be reached on a single charge, more than anyone in the current lineup. The redesigned interior uses a horizontal touch screen and a yoke steering wheel, although it remains to be seen whether it will make it into a production model. Delivery is expected to begin in the second half of 2021; reservations are now available. Click here for more details about the 2022 Tesla Model S.
