In addition to regularly manufacturing world-class disposable motorcycles, German Hookie Co. has not wavered in the factory manufacturing process. The company has been steadily releasing more and more crazy-changing bolt-on body kits for easily customizable models such as the BMW R nineT and Yamaha XSR700. Just in the new year, this custom moto store in Dresden has now launched the first bolting kit for the Scrambler Ducati desert sled and named it “Scorpion”.
The kit is made of AE12 (an environmentally friendly material created through a 3D printing process) and uses Ducati’s stock mounting points. It is inspired by Nike’s ACG Air Zoom AO, which is a durable everyday sneaker, Suitable for subways and mountain tops, as well as some supplementary influences from science fiction and animation in the 90s. Therefore, this more sporty desert sled is suitable for off-road use. The kit includes a new rally car-themed fuel tank cap that rests on the inventory, while at the same time is equipped with vertical LED strip headlights on both sides, a modern style on the rear signage, and Round headlights with Koso Thunderbolt headlights. Hookie will build a total of 10 units, each with a different paint scheme and accessories, the first of which (seen here) is called “Confident Purple”.
